Who are the Jackson Mama Bears? We are a group of mothers, stepmothers, and designated mothers of every Jackson high school football player (freshmen, sophomores, juniors, seniors).


What do they do? Our purpose is to provide support and spirit to the Jackson High School Football program.


How do they do that? We organize fundraisers and events, such as our car wash, annual auction, and end of season banquets. We seek donations from football families, friends, and local businesses. We work with the coaching staff and the administration in support of the high school football program.


When do they meet? We begin forming committees in February, meet periodically in the summer on Monday evenings, and starting in August, we meet every Monday at the high school at 6:30 p.m.


How do you become a Mama Bear? Simply join us on a Monday evening in the Library

at Jackson High School.

32nd Annual Mama Bears Auction - Saturday, August 19, 2017

St Nikola Orthodox Church

5305 Massillon Rd. North Canton

Tickets are $50 per person and include dinner and drinks.

If you sell a table of 8 prior to the event you will receive $50 in raffle tickets.


Each family is asked to:

*purchase or sell 2 tickets to event

*donate bottle of wine or liquor

*donate $25 gift card or cash (you may seek donation for gift card)


Ways to help:

*Contact co-chairs to assist with soliciting donations

*Contact friends/acquaintances/family for donations

*Volunteer to work during auction (1 hr)

The Auction is our primary means of fundraising for the football team. We use the money for a variety of expenses including: sum-mer snacks during conditioning, team feeds, food for team bonding night, roster t-shirts, banners, track suits, end of year banquets, mother-son banquet. We also help with expenses for high dollar equipment that is needed to help our team do their very best!
